This certainly went to the right home!  After I shared a picture of this artwork a few weeks ago, Rose H. contacted me about purchasing it.

She wrote:

"I was born in Brookings Oregon but lived in Texas for 13 years. I had golden hair and beautiful tan skin. I was the Yellow Rose of Texas growing up.”

So you can understand why Rose was excited about acquiring this piece. She sent me this photo after she received it. “Yellow Rose of Texas” in it’s new home.

🎨 Prismacolor pencils, acrylic paint, and gold leaf.
