ABOUT THE ART

In 1993 Ann Lanier, publisher of “Doberman Quarterly” magazine, ran a Doberman puppy photo contest. After the winners were chosen Ann was left with dozens of cute puppy photos. I was a rising artistic star in the Doberman world at that time, so Ann asked me to create a Doberman Puppies Coloring Book using those photos. I designed it to be educational for children about puppies and how to care for them. I added a gentle sense of humor into it that delights anyone who has ever raised a puppy.

Sadly, Ann passed away not long after that. No more was seen of the Doberman Puppies Coloring Books for many years, until the well known show-dog handler and Doberman historian Marj Brooks discovered several boxes of them in a storage warehouse. I have teamed up with Marj to bring these charming coloring books back to the public. Only a limited number of the Doberman Puppies Coloring Book are available.
