"Winter in Some Far Country" 20 x 26 inches 18 K gold leaf, pencil, acrylic on grey Canson Mi-Tientes Winter in Some Far Country was painted after the death of my daughter, April. I was there when she was born and I loved her and took care of her for 13 years. I adored her. This painting is about April’s beauty and calmness of spirit. I painted it because of how I missed her.
